Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is an animated series that aired from September 8, 1990 to November 23, 1991. It has two seasons, the first one has 13 episodes and the second one has 8. It is based on the 1978 film, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes and its 1988 sequel, Return of the Killer Tomatoes.

- Chad Finletter: The main hero of the series. He's a 10-year-old boy who lives with his uncle, Wilbur Finletter and works as a pizza delivery boy for Wilbur's Pizza Palace. Chad's one of the few people who know that F.T. and Tara are tomatoes. Tara is his girlfriend, but in the series they do not really show that that much.
- Tara Bouemday: One of Dr. Gangreen's failed experiments. She and F.T. abandoned Dr. Gangreen and his evil plans. She and F.T. escaped to Wilbur's Pizza Palace where she got a job as a waitress. She's Chad's girlfriend, but in the series they don't really show that that much. When salt is poured on her, she turns into a tomato. The only way to transform Tara back to her human form is to pour her with pepper. She was shown to have has telepathic and telekinetic tomato powers.
